The funeral procession leaves the ancestral house for the parish church.

The decorated Coffin with the parochial umbrella is being carried to the parish church. The last journey winds its way along the local roads and alleys trodden by the late Vicar.

Local people, priests and nuns join in the funeral service at St.Michael’s Church. It was an occasion to recall the illustrious sons and daughters of the Kumbalam parish who had dedicated their lives in the services of the Lord. The Valiavila family has been blessed with the privilege of having more than a dozen priests and nuns serving in different dioceses of the Church.
